2nd part:

(several moons later)

Firestar came back from hunting when Graystripe came up to him.

"Cakepaw is becoming a formidable fighter. I think it is time he became a warrior."

"I think it is time we fed him this 'cake' he talks about. It may improve his skills as a warrior."

So Firestar went to ask Cakepaw about where to get cake.

He came back to Graystripe." He says Princess will get me some."

The next day, Firestar journeyed to Princess' twoleg place and asked her about cake.

"Cake is a twoleg food that can make certain cats go berserck, making them amazing fighters." Princess told him seriously.

"Can you get your paws on some?" Firestar asked.

"I can. But the effect will last forever."

"Why is that a bad thing?"Firestar asked.

"They will remain magnificent fighters and hunters, but they will be hyper and outgoing.Hard to control."

"Just like me, then?" Firestar joked.

"I guess..."Princess replied and then sprinted inside.

She came back with a small slice of cake.

"Make sure that Cakepaw drinks plenty of water...." Princess told Firestar with a sigh.

"Why are you sad and worried?"Firestar asked.

"Because Cakepaw...Is my son."

"He is?" Graystripe asked.

"Yes. Princess wouldn't lie.He's my kin."

So, Firestar fed Cakepaw the cake. He became the best fighter and hunter in all the forest. He also became very hard to control. Firestar and Graystripe soon found out who 'they' werea pack of cats from the city were in the forest,and Cakepaw was the only fighter good enoughto kill them. Sandstorm scouted ahead before the battle.

"There are at least thirty."

Well, I always did like a challenge." Firestar retorted.and with a flick of his tail, thunderclan leaped into the clearing and the battle begun.

Cat leaped onto cat.Claws met face. Teeth met throats.And, in the middle of all of this, Cakepaw was killing and wounding cats by the minute. He sent a large gray tom squeeling into the undergrowth with a raked stomach and one ear. He sent another large, white tom into a bush, half dead and half scattered around the clearing.Firestar was taking on the leader, a small dark tom named Tom Cruise with a studded collar.

Batting eachother with unsheathed claws, ripping their teeth and tryingto get a death bite. Firestar was almost at an end.

Tom Cruise had him pinned with one paw and about to take the death bite, when a colouful, speeding torpedo zoomed by and knocked Tom Cruise off of Firestar. The torpedo of course, was Cakepaw.

Cakepaw slashed, bit, and tackled Tom Cruise, but Tom cruise wasn't bad at fighting either. He slashed and bit, too. Cakepaw received some nasty blows to his stomachand eye, but Tom Cruise lost half of his earand most of his tail. It seemed that the battle would have gone on forever.But Cakepaw finally had Tom Cruise pinned. He could not deal him the death strike, though.If Cakepaw moved, Tom Cruise would slip out of his paws.

All of a sudden, Raggedstripe sprinted over and helped hold Tom Cruise. Cakepaw immediatly bit Tom Cruise on the neck and blood started to flow out.

Tom Cruise, had just been killed.

Back at the thunderclan camp, Firestar jumped onto the high rock.

"Cats of all ages. Gather beneath the high rock."

All of the cats gathered around and Firestar called Cakepaw up.

"Cakepaw, for an outstanding battle and Tom Cruise clan and for honoring the warrior code, I call upon my warrior ancestors to accept you as a warrior even though you are not forest-born. I now give you your warrior name. From this day forth, you shall be known as Cakeclaw."

The thunderclan cats started chanting his name. That's when Cakeclaw knew that he finally belonged.
